Not all makeup looks suit everyone!

Every woman is beautiful.

Every woman has her own style and taste, and it's very important for a woman to preserve her identity, after all that's what defines her.

However, I would like to emphasize on the fact that NOT every makeup look and style suits every woman.

I get a lot of clients who have pulled out makeup looks from magazines, expecting to leave my studio looking identical to the model.

Girls, please, it's important to know that magazine pictures are photoshopped, lighting also plays a huge role in the process of perfecting the picture.

Makeup can and will camouflage your flaws, contouring can reshape your face, but some features especially eye shape restrict the makeup looks choice. For example, women with prominent eyes must avoid shimmery and light colors on their eyelid, or else their eyes would look even more prominent. So going for an advertisement of a new shimmery light color that makes your eye pop would not be a good choice.

Women need to carefully study their face features in order to be able to make better makeup choices. Things like skin tone, undertones, eye shape, lip shape, face shape, and even hair color play a big role in makeup selection.

So go ahead and take some time to examine your face in the mirror, and try to describe your face features. I will have a new post on face features and how to select the right makeup looks for them. Once you have carefully examined your face, come back to find out what look would suit you best :)
